Around their apartment

Two of my friends just got back from their honeymoon, and on Friday I helped them move their respective boxes and furniture, along with many wedding presents, into their new apartment. (This couple is different from this one.) They're both math grad students, and I was the only grad student among those who were helping with the move that was from a different department. At some point, we discovered some poster that various number theorist friends had made to congratulate them on their marriage. It involved some equation that I didn't understand, followed by the command to "Now get multiplyin'!" Looking at the sign, the math people, newlyweds included, burst into hysterical laughter. This followed.

INT. THEIR APARTMENT — AFTERNOON

TEACHING ASSISTANT stares, perplexed, at the equation on the poster, trying to get the joke.

NEWLYWED MALE MATH TA
(noticing her behavior)
Sorry about that; math geeks.

NEWLYWED FEMALE MATH TA
(to Teaching Assistant, reassuringly)
You're geeky too, just in other ways.
