Quoteable

"I figure, I've learned to read the Bible in Old Saxon. It's really about time I learned Greek and Hebrew."

A friend on one of many reasons she's considering seminary. She is among those mentioned here and speaks, among other languages, Finnish. (Finnish falls outside the indo-european language family, and it's not her native tongue.) Somehow, I doubt that biblical Greek or Hebrew will present much of an obstacle.
