I'm happy

It's Friday. I have no grading to do at all, and that means that my grad school homework load will be somewhat manageable this weekend and can be put off until tomorrow. I just went book shopping. One acquisition stands out above the others: Harry Potter y el misterio del príncipe, which came out yesterday.* My gringo bookstore actually had copies stocked! Wearing my new favorite shirt (I got it a couple weeks ago... and yes, it has to do with Harry Potter), I am about to sit down with a fun book and a bar of Ghirardelli chocolate.

Oh, this bodes well.

*Fansite HarryLatino isn't too thrilled about the quality of the translation, or at least how the title was rendered into Spanish. They've called it "La horrenda traducción al castellano de Harry Potter y el Príncipe Mestizo." I'm not altogether thrilled with the choice of title Harry Potter y el misterio del príncipe, either. Literally, that means Harry Potter and the Mystery of the Prince instead of what the sixth book is supposed to be titled, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Anyway, for the amusement of several people who read my blog and who also read J.K. Rowling's books in Spanish, I'll reproduce the options for a new poll that HarryLatino is running, because I saw the options and couldn't help but laugh.

"¿Qué te parece la traducción?"
— Horrocroxa
— Ni fú ni fá
— Buena (*risas*)
— ¿A eso llaman traducir?
