Snow Treasure, a favorite book

Snow Treasure is one of the books I most loved to read as a kid. I think I first read it as a fourth grader, and I read it over and over. I don't think I ever owned a copy; I probably just borrowed it from a teacher or the library frequently. The book is set in Norway during WWII. Thinking about how much I enjoyed reading that book is making me feel all warm and happy inside. If I had a copy on my bookshelf, I'd still be rereading it. Speaking of which... off to add Snow Treasure to my Amazon.com wish list!

Now, back to working at the salt mines on end-of-semester projects and papers for grad school...
