Just saying...

The BBC/BBC America have put together an extremely entertaining television show in Robin Hood. The DVD set of the first season came out in the U.S. only a few weeks ago, and I've been watching it courtesy of Netflix. I love it, and I'm very excited that the show will be back for a second season later this year (although I suppose season two might not be shown in the U.S. until 2008).

Why should you seriously consider watching yet another version of the story of Robin of Locksley? Well, in short, because of the action, adventure, intrigue, bows, quivers, arrows, witty banter, twelfth century setting, Sherwood Forest, scruffy outlaws, evil sheriff, swords, quarterstaffs, heroic theme music, British accents... what's not to love?
