Me llamo...

Next time I teach introductory or beginning Spanish, one of the first homework assignments I'll give my students is to watch this very short video clip from Family Guy and provide both a written explanation of its significance and several ways one can properly say "My name is _____" in Spanish. I've never seen Family Guy, and I discovered this video while reading Peeve Farm, where there's a very interesting post on the subject of the irritating and incorrect thing that is "Me llamo es _____."

In case any of you are wondering, the correct thing to say is "Me llamo _____." (You insert your name in the blank.)
